Earthquake Detector Using Arduino UNO

SEEE DIGIBOOK ON ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, VOL. 03, MAY 2021 PP.(1-5)
Abstract– Nowadays, The Earthquake is a very big problem that causes damage to lives and property. Our project may be a small step to save lots of these losses by giving knowledge about the earthquake before it strikes, this device will rely on the motion in 3-D. Because the motion in any of the three dimensions occurs LCD display will start displaying the figures here Arduino UNO is that the primary system which might be software tunable and that we can implement signal processing through an algorithm where we will set the limits of Motion in 3-D by comparing the data of earthquake from the meteorological departments, how much magnitude of an earthquake is disastrous setting those figures as an upper limit in the algorithm if figures of motion in any of the three dimensions is greater than the fixed upper limit figure then the LED light will start to glow and also the buzzer will start buzzing. These three-dimension motions are going to be recognized by the MPU6050 sensor. The alerts would allow businesses, residents, and public agencies time to urge ready. The purpose of the study concentrates on the sensor data to judge if an earthquake is happening.
