DEVELOPMENT OF NEW MATERIAL FOR FIXING IN FISHING NET

SEEE DIGIBOOK ON ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, VOL. 03, JUNE 2023 PP. (234-237)
Abstract– The development of new materials for fixing in fishing nets addresses critical needs in durability, functionality, and environmental impact. This research focuses on creating a novel material that enhances the strength and longevity of fishing nets while minimizing ecological harm. The new material integrates advanced synthetic fibers with biodegradable components, ensuring robustness and reducing environmental footprint. Initial testing indicates improved resistance to abrasion and wear compared to traditional materials, along with a significant reduction in post-use pollution. This advancement promises to enhance the efficiency of fishing operations and contribute to more sustainable marine practices.
