Embedded Based Smart Energy Meter  Billing and Monitoring System

SEEE DIGIBOOK ON ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, VOL. 03, MAY 2021 PP.(24-28)
Abstract– This project demonstrates the use of an innovative system which will bridge the gap between the consumer and energy provider. It includes designing a wireless network portal providing access to the billing information. The system is a wireless Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) based energy meter is used for displaying details of real-time energy consumption. The proposed system does not replace the traditional meters and it can be easily interfaced with the existing energy meters. Also, introducing here sensors for measuring the voltage and current for identify the high voltage occurs this system avoids the damages of electrical appliances on over voltage.
