Abstract– The “Level of Bus Step” project aims to enhance public transportation accessibility by developing improved bus step designs. Traditional bus steps often pose barriers for individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and parents with strollers. This project focuses on creating innovative step mechanisms that ensure seamless and safe boarding and alighting for all passengers. Our approach includes user-centered design, engineering optimization, and pilot testing to validate effectiveness. The ultimate goal is to make public buses more inclusive and user friendly for everyone.
