Abstract– Agriculture is the backbone of our country; it’s in the downstream due to improper utilisation of Agric – land. Literature survey shows the drip irrigation system is one for the deficient of farm land. ‘AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM’ finds the solution for the system by implementing automatic watering to entire land without wastage of water. It also reduces the maintenance cost, saves time and labor cost. It controls the flow of water automatically from the farm by using Programmable logic controller (PLC) and solenoid controlled for OPEN and CLOSE purpose. Water level sensor is used to send input signal. Time will be reduced and job opportunities are enhanced for the engineers
